Good morning, CERT Team.
Just a quick reminder that we will meet on Monday, July 22, at 6 p.m. for training at the Big Bear Masonic Event Center, 385 Summit Blvd., BBL. The topic will be “Heat Exhaustion: Prevention & Treatment”.
You will also have an opportunity to sign up to volunteer for two events in August:
Saturday, August 3rd, Tour de Big Bear CERT Aid Station (refreshment stand), 5:30 – 11:00 a.m., Snow Valley. Free T-shirt! Three free meals! This is our biggest fundraiser for CERT. Read more about this in the attached minutes from the June 24th General Meeting.
Saturday, August 10th, BB Antique Car Club’s Fun Run, Bartlett Parking Lot, BBL. This is for CERT Training recruiting. Sign up to set up at 8 a.m., break down at 3 p.m., or 3-hour shifts morning and afternoon.
