Present: Susan Elliott, Robert Grimes, Norma Grimes, Ed Williams, Jim Smith, Marie Smith, Susan Antrillo, Ed Stanik.
Call to Order 6:10 p.m.

Treasurer Report: Ed Williams reported that he opened a new account at US Bank.
Current Checking Account Balance: $3033.34
Current Savings Account Balance: $1800.00
Total: $4,833.34
New Business
• Asset Committee
o Needs chairman – Susan read job description from SOPs.
• Training –questionnaire will be emailed to active members.
o Susan received training suggestions from CERT and will schedule for future meetings.
Old Business
• Tour de Big Bear results – Susan reported that BBV CERT received a donation from the Big Bear Cycling Assoc. for $1800 for our participation in the Tour de Big Bear Aid Station. She thanked everyone for their help.
• Renewal of CERT licenses status. SBC OES is working on it.
Susan will send info about renewing First Aid/CPR licenses online.
Upcoming Training/Other Events
• BBV-CERT Basic Training, September 25-29, 6:00-10:00 p.m., Big Bear Lake Fire Station.
• Red Bag Training, Sept. 30, at Paradise Yard. Everyone is invited. Lunch will be included.
• Pampered Chef Fundraiser extended until Aug. 31
• Maggio’s Pizza Fundraiser, November 8
• Next meeting: October 23, 2023, 6:00 p.m., Big Bear Lake Fire Station. (September 25 meeting is canceled due to training that evening.)
• Ham Radio Testing and Preparation (available through Dede Hermon, K6DDZ.com)
